As an #Autism parent, why don’t you get a break?

I posted a question on my Facebook page, asking Autism parents if they ever get a break. The results were heartbreaking but sadly not all that surprising.

Autism parents as a whole, don’t get the breaks they desperately need. Some people do and that’s amazing but so many others don’t. Lizze and I are blessed with occasional breaks that we are incredibly grateful for.

We’ve established that Autism parents don’t get many breaks, but we should discuss why that is.
