Sony WH1000XM3 Noise Canceling Headphones set is our new favorite at #BestBuy
When it comes to sensory challenges; noise definitely qualifies as one of the most significant problems facing our family.
Crowded stores, malls, airports, crying babies on planes and even theme parks affect our son with autism. Noise is a huge stress factor that inadvertently leads to our son’s mood changes and meltdowns. So over the years, we’ve tried to mitigate the noise element and its effect on our son; both on a daily basis and during our travel times.
When #BestBuy asked me to check out Sony’s WH1000XM3 Noise Canceling Headphones I was thrilled. I hoped that these headphones would help alleviate our son’s anxiety as well as help entertain him, particularly on long-haul flights. And it turns out I was right. As it turns out the Sony WH1000XM3 Noise Canceling Headphones set is our new favorite at #BestBuy
The Sony WH-1000XM3 Headphones set
The Sony WH-1000XM3 headphone set is perfect for our son.
The proprietary HD noise canceling processor QN1 provide incredible sound management along with up to 30 hours of battery life. That means our son can listen to his movies and music on cross-country flights as well as Transatlantic or Transpacific ones.
Oooops. And when we forget to recharge them? And there’s a fast charge meaning five hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charge time.
For years finding the right headphones has plagued us.
Our son hates the ones you put inside your ears and complained bitterly about the ones sitting on top of his ears. We felt we couldn’t win. That is until these came along.
The Sony WH-1000XM3 Headphones set provides soft and even pressure on the ears giving the wearer a stable fit. So, after years of looking around, we finally found the most comfortable headphones set for our son.
Personally, I love the smart listening feature on the Sony WH-1000XM3 Headphones that automatically detects activity and balances noise canceling levels accordingly. Total MAGIC! For the first time in decades, I don’t have to remind our son his music is too loud
Best of all is the sound quality.
Turns out though our son is noise sensitive he still appreciates superior sound quality. The 40mm drivers with Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) diaphragms are hi-res audio compatible, so they reproduce a full range of frequencies. After trying out the headphones ( he’s quite the aficionado after using at least 20 of them over the years) he really liked the sound.
Bottom line
The Sony WH-1000XM3 Headphones set is the perfect accessory for daily life chores as well as travel. For families with autism, these noise canceling headphones may be the ideal answer to your needs.
The black or silver headphones, provide users with quality sound as well as block out the noise. The touch sensor controls that regulate music and incoming phone calls are a bonus. We chose the silver as they stand out on black carpeting on aircraft floors.
Apart from the Sony quality control and a snazzy carrying case the #BestBuy package includes an audio cable for wired connection, over-the-ear headphones, and a USB-C charging cable.
The Sony headphones at #BestBuy make for an excellent choice for all members of the family. From those working out in the gym, taking public transportation to those with sensory issues that want to tune the noise surrounding them, these headphones will become your go-to pair. They are functional, stylish and uber comfortable to wear.
