So naturally, I’ve been looking for an alternative!
How we liked it

Since it doesn’t sit directly on the ears, you can still hear some music but that ‘wall shaking loudness’ is gone! We could finally carry on a phone conversation without me asking to repeat everything since I couldn’t understand what he was saying most of the time.
