An Open Letter to All Project Lifesaver Member Agencies: Project Lifesaver is HERE TO STAY!
First, let me be absolutely clear that rumor is simply not true. Project Lifesaver has never been stronger. We currently have more than 1600 member agencies nation wide, our technology options have dramatically grown, including advances in RF, multiple GPS choices, a PLI/Lockheed Martin UAV and much more in the pipeline.
Our training courses our second to none including; Electronic Search Specialist Operator and Instructor courses, both Autism and Alzheimer’s Emergency Response courses, and now we provide UAV flight and maintenance training, UAV flight certification, and support in applying for a 333 or Certificate of Authorization (COA) through the FAA.
The misinformation comes directly from that “For Profit” Project Lifesaver copycat company, apparently trying to bolster its own client base. Unfortunately, this particular organization has resorted to quietly and covertly spreading misinformation about Project Lifesaver in order to meet its demands to make a profit
As a non-profit organization, Project Lifesaver does not view this important work as a “MARKET”. Our clear and singular focus is on providing these most vulnerable groups and their caregivers with the support and protection they need. We see our mission as bringing peace of mind and improving the quality of life of these high risk population’s and their caregivers.
Our passion is safety, security, and protection, NOT PROFIT.
Project Lifesaver delivers on those objectives providing high quality tools, training, and the most effective technology to public safety agencies that are responding to “at-risk” individuals and their caregivers in their time of need. Unfortunately, this “For-Profit” company is trying to appear as though they are a public servant serving the needs of the community, when in fact, they are only serving themselves.
More than 18 years ago Project Lifesaver was the first organization to apply locating technology for the search and rescue of individuals with cognitive disorders such as Autism or Alzheimer’s disease, since then the rate of these disorders have steadily increased making this work even more critical with a focus on the at risk community, not on making a profit.
If you hear from this “For Profit” Project Lifesaver copycat company, before making any decisions, I strongly urge you to contact us directly at 772-446-1714 and we will answer any and all questions you may have.
