When sensory seeking behaviour goes very wrong

So today, after a fun 90 minutes at the park with Daddy, my girls came home and headed straight out into our backyard to play. I warned them against playing with water, as I’d already cleaned up wet & slightly muddy children once today. My warning was either not heeded or forgotten as 30 minutes later I heard the tap running and discussions about a ‘chocolate waterfall’… discussions which resulted in buckets of mud poured down the path so the girls could slide along it, which turned out to be fun in a muddy way, but slightly painful, and once again we were in need of bathing. Do know what I find most impressive – Annie manages to get herself muddy as, yet her hair remains stylish and neat (albeit slightly muddy)
