Tied shoes

Like most many things that my son accomplishes he does it quietly and without fanfare.. he learned to tie his shoelaces! For the better part of the last two years, my husband made it his mission to show my son the trick to tying his shoelaces. And my boy having fine motor issues would try but be easily bored by the whole affair and simply wait for his daddy out cause he always tied it in the end. And there was always willing little sister who loved showing off he lacing tying skill LOL. So you can imagine my shock when I made my daily statement that he ties his shoes and get ready for school and.... he did! I looked around for his sister and his father but no it was just him and his tied shoes! I felt so proud of my babe. A shoelace tying person at the tender age of nine! I am sure you can feel me beam!
