It’s the end of yet another day in the Autism parenting world for me. It’s been a pretty decent day and I don’t really have any complaints.
While I was really tired, I never needed a nap and I was able to push through it. I’ll be honest, that wasn’t easy but since I can’t claim any other major accomplishments today, I’m going to consider that a win... 😁
The boys had a good day at school and if you follow me on Twitter, you already know that we rescued a large, injured and very pregnant Praying Mantis. That was pretty much the excitement for the day.
Gavin’s IVIG infusion went well and he’s still doing okay with his bladder issues. We haven’t seen any changes with his increased dosage of Clozapine.
There’s been a ton of mission talk today and the focus was on his friend Sonic who was in the hospital for reasons I can’t remember. I had a really hard time listening to him go on and on about this stuff today.
Aside from all that, it’s been a decent day.
No matter how mundane or how challenging a day I have, I’m always grateful that I’ve had it to spend with my wife and kids.. ☺
