Everything you need to know about homeschooling autism all in one book. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to homeschool your child with autism all the way through high school? Have you ever thought, “Is it even possible to homeschool my child with autism?”
As with all homeschool questions, the answer to this one will be different for each of us. Just like every person with autism is unique, every family has changing needs, which can include homeschooling. The majority of homeschool families find success in bringing their child with autism home to learn.
If you are just starting out homeschooling, the thought of keeping up with your child’s therapies plus teaching them academics can sound overwhelming. What if I told you it was possible to homeschool your child with autism from kindergarten all the way through high school? Better yet, what if I told you how to do it successfully as well as build a relationship with your child?

I wrote this book to relay our homeschool experience in hopes that it would encourage you to do what I believe is the best therapy option for children with autism. It is always my hope that families with autism would embrace out of the box thinking to help their child with autism live a successful and happy life. This is one of those ideas.
Your homeschool is not going to look like anyone else’s homeschool. Your child will have needs and likes that other children do not have. This is true of all children not just ones with autism. Confidence to homeschool can come from seeing what another family did successfully. This book hopes to show that homeschooling your child with autism may not be the easiest thing in the world to do. It will however be one of the most rewarding things you will do for your child with autism. You keep going by building success upon success. always remembering that even slow progress is still progress.
