The Central Midlands area agency on Aging provided funding for 3 counties in the Midlands area of South Carolina to start project lifesaver. Catawba Co NC PLS international instructor Alton Price was the lead instructor for the class, assisted by SC State Coordinator, international instructor Amanda Jordan from Richland CO Sheriff’s Department and Ret Capt Bill Brown from the Richland CO Sheriff’s Department who was completing his internship with PLS to bring him on as a new PLS international instructor.
We welcome aboard Newberry Co Sheriff’s office and Newberry Police department, Fairfield CO Sheriff’s Office and Lexington CO Sheriff’s Office to Project Lifesaver. The training took place in Columbia SC on March 29 and 30 2016.
