Autism parenting can be all consuming, absolutely exhausting and full of indescribable amounts of stress. One of the toughest things about being an Autism parent is remembering to take care of ourselves.
Taking care of ourselves is beyond important because if we don’t take care of ourselves, we won’t be able to take care of our kids. It’s not easy to remain focused on self-care when our kids require so much of our everything.
