Music Is Joining the Conversation

For years, Autisable has been about connection; sharing stories, building community, and advocating for what matters most to families navigating autism. The podcast has been central to that mission, and it’s not going anywhere. But stories don’t only live in conversation. Sometimes they need rhythm, melody, and emotion to be fully heard.

Starting in 2026, music becomes part of how we tell those stories.

What This Means

We’re ramping up to regularly share new songs that reflect the themes, struggles, joys, and truths of our community. These aren’t generic tracks… they’re crafted with intention, rooted in real experiences, and designed to connect with what we’re all living through.

Some will make you smile. Some might make you cry. A few might just make you feel seen in a way words alone can’t quite capture. My son already has his favorites; he lights up, laughs, and gets genuinely excited when certain tracks play. That’s the kind of connection I’m hoping these songs bring to others, too.

The podcast continues, just on a more flexible schedule. Quality over quantity. Real conversations when they matter most.

Why Music, Why Now

Life in the autism community doesn’t pause. Between managing care, coordinating therapies, and simply keeping everything moving forward, creative work has to fit into the gaps. Music allows me to keep creating even when schedules don’t align for recording interviews or when family needs take priority.

It’s also personal. Music has always been a way I process things—and honestly, it’s something our family enjoys together. If these songs can bring that same kind of moment to other families, that’s exactly what Autisable is about.

A Quick Word on the Process

Yes, I’m using AI as part of the creative process—but in the same way a painter uses a brush or a producer uses a mixing board. Every lyric, every concept, every decision is mine. The tool helps me bring ideas to life faster, but the heart, the message, and the purpose? That’s all human.

This isn’t about replacing artistry. It’s about expanding what’s possible while staying true to what Autisable has always been: authentic, meaningful, and driven by real experience.

I’m doing my best to follow best practices throughout this process, and I’m committed to doing right by the music community. To my friends who are singers, songwriters, and musicians—if any of these songs resonate with you, I’d be honored if you wanted to cover them and make them your own. The message matters more than the medium.

What’s Coming

  • Regular music releases as we ramp up (starting slow as we finalize and distribute the first batch, then hitting a steady rhythm)
  • A dedicated space on the Autisable site to highlight new songs and keep you posted on releases
  • Podcast episodes on a flexible schedule—same heart, same authenticity

This marks a new chapter, but the mission remains unchanged. We’re still here to connect, advocate, and make sure the voices that matter most are heard—now just with a bit more melody.

Thanks for being part of this community. Let’s see where the music takes us.
