Podcast Season 2 Episode 7 – Mark Llobell & Autism Insurance Reform

After 12 years of hard work, Mark Llobell spearheaded efforts to work with Federal, State, and Local representatives to address Autism Insurance reform in the state of Virginia. The most recent development being recent legislation passed that removed the age cap for coverage.

Mark is the CEO and President of the Virginia Autism Foundation and a Founding member of the Virginia Autism Project.

In this podcast, I speak with Mark about this effort, and what it took to get this grassroots campaign in front of the eyes of our representatives.

Mark’s efforts have pushed open the doors for families in the state of Virginia. With this legislation, they can have the opportunity to get the insurance coverage they need so they can afford necessary services for their loved ones.
