Homeschooling with Autism: 31 Days

When I read over at My 3 Boybarians that the new year of 31 Days series starting in October, I knew I wanted to join.  But what to write about?  I needed something that I actually knew something about.  Believe no one wants to read my 31 Days of  XBox .  My family could write that post but not me.  I could write 31 Ways to Lose in XBox .  It’s really pathetic.  Take my word for it.

I decided to combine the two things I write about most here on the blog, homeschooling and autism.  Autism presesnts a unique set of challenges in every day life.  Lots and lots of people send their children with autism off to school because they don’t think that homeschool is an option.  I felt that way too when Logan was younger.  It is my desire to show everyone that you can homeschool successfully with a child with autism.   You just need to make some accomadations.

Now if you don’t have a child with special needs and just read my blog for regular homeschool stuff then I hope that you will read all month too.  I apply a lot of stuff to my typically developing child as well.  Besides, there will cool giveaways this month too.  Who doesn’t like free stuff?

There you have it.  For the next 31 Days , I will be blogging about homeschooling with autism.  I have book reviews, guest posts and lots of giveaways.  Lots and lots of  giveaways.  That’s my favorite part of the whole month!  Hope you enjoy!

Hop on over to My 3 Boybarians or The Nester to see all the 31 Dayers ( is that a word?)  There are lots of fun links!
