A Melt Down of Old

After reading the Supermarket Meltdown post from Veronica I was reminded of this post from 11th August 2007.

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Heidi screamed from 5.30am to just after 11am this morning. Pretty much constant screaming, not crying but screaming. Surprised she hasn’t lost her voice.

I called Ralph at work at 11am in tears because I did not know what to do. He rang S and she came straight over.

In the end I covered a card table we’d been using as a cubby house in a couple of blankets, put a bunch of blankets underneath and Heidi’s pillow, dolly and toy pig. Then I put Heidi in there with a drink of milk. Amazingly she stopped screaming.

S sent me to bed and played with Annie whilst Heidi hibernated and eventually came out to play with them.

Me brain explode. I wish I knew what set her off. Hardly got any sleep last night because young Annie was up from midnight to 3am and Ralph was up at 4.30am to go to work, followed by Heidi at 5.am. Why did she start screaming? How can I prevent the screaming in the future?

Some days I just don’t want to be me anymore.
