The iPad Challenge – #helpmysontalk

Touchpad technology has helped countless families dealing with Autism find their children’s voice.

A company called “The Puzzling Piece” has developed an ingenious business plan to not only develop great product to deliver to market, but a means by which families can obtain the latest iPad for their child.

Thanks to this couple, thousands of children are able to obtain an iPad and find their voice.

Here’s a  tribute video honoring their service to the Autism Community through the iPad Challenge:

An iPad can cost a lot of money, and many families dealing with Autism just can’t afford one easily (even ours).

My Son Short Stack has PDD-NOS, but he wants to interact – he wants to communicate, but gets extremely frustrated because he can’t find his words.

So, I’m taking this challenge – to help my son talk…. to help him find his voice.

This means I need your help.

If you can afford it, take a look at http://www.thepuzzlingpiece.com and look at what qualifying pieces for the iPad Challenge are available.

If you decide on purchasing some, just be sure to put “Joel Manzer” in the Challenger box on each item you order – this way I would get credit for the challenge.

If you want to be a part of the iPad Challenge, check out the site – and participate as well.

Check out their facebook page as well – they have weekly contests!  – https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Puzzling-Piece/94734741574

Thanks for helping my son find his voice!   (I’ll be using #helpmysontalk as the hashtag for this)
