I have no idea – I’m still pretty proud of it!

This is just a little bit of bragging.

I really appreciate all the comments and emails I’ve gotten from everyone out there.  I’m glad that you’ve all enjoyed the ‘strip so far and that it’s been so well received.  BUT, as I’m sure you’ve noticed by now, while I’m not completely hopeless with a pencil, the artwork in OTS is… shall we say… average, on a good day. LOL

So I’ve been studying a lot of anime and manga style artwork lately, to try and improve my own drawing in OTS.  The pic to the left was just something I was doodling on a post-it note while I was on the phone (on hold) with someone.  It’s no one and nothing in particular, but I was pretty psyched at how it came out.  This was the first time I think I got even close to getting the style right, and I really kind of surprised myself.  So I just felt like showing it off a little.  Pathetic really, I know, but what can I say?  I just really liked how this came out!

Of course now the pressure is on me to improve the level of artwork in the ‘strip… Yeah… We’ll see about that… LOL.

  • You did such a great job with the art here. You should be very proud of this so much. So many will love the work in the future. actos recall

  • I am beginning to collect data for my dissertation, and I was hoping that you guys would be willing to help me. I am looking at stress and ways of coping with stress in parents of children ages 5-12 in three groups: parents of children with ASDs, parents of children with Type 1 diabetes, and parents of children with no diagnoses. My hope is to use this data as a jumping off point to create an intervention to help parents cope with stress.

If you meet the above criteria, can you please complete this survey?: https://baylor.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0GJF7ldjuBwBWEk

For those of you who don’t meet the above criteria, could you please consider forwarding the survey to any parents you know that fit the above criteria?

As an incentive, people who complete the survey can participate in a drawing for one of three $50 giftcards to Amazon.com. And people who refer others to the survey get their name added into the drawing for each person they refer

Thank you to everyone who completes a survey!
